About the Product

Full Description

Fillet Tablet (Kushta Sadaf) is a traditional calcined Unani formulation primarily derived from processed marine shells (such as Mother of Pearl). It acts as an effective natural calcium supplement, blood-purifier, and vital organ tonic used to treat reproductive health disorders and general debility in both men and women.

Ingredients of Fillet Tablet

  • Sadaf Kalan (Cypraea moneta / Mother of Pearl): The primary active ingredient, which is purified, detoxified, and calcined into a fine calx (powder).
  • Sheer-E-Madar (Calotropis gigantea): Used as a processing agent during the traditional detoxification and calcination stages.
  • Other Additives: Starch or classical binders may be used when formulated into tablet form.

Indications of Fillet Tablet

  • Male Sexual Disorders: Helps control involuntary nocturnal emissions (nightfall), spermatorrhoea, and carnal debility.
  • Female Reproductive Issues: Traditionally used to manage leucorrhoea (abnormal vaginal discharge) and abnormal uterine bleeding.
  • General Vitality: Addresses general physical weakness, fatigue, and low sexual vitality.
  • Organ Support: Supports cardiovascular and renal function, as well as maintaining bone density.

Benefits of Fillet Tablet

  • Natural Calcium Source: Supplies bioactive calcium and trace elements (like iron and copper) vital for bone modeling and reducing fatigue.
  • Tonic for Vital Organs: Strengthens the heart and helps restore body stamina.
  • Astringent/Styptic Action: Helps regulate excess fluid secretions and bleeding.

Doses of Fillet Tablet

  • Administration: It is typically taken with specific vehicles (such as Majun Supari Pak) or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Formulations: Available in powder or tablet forms, with specific amounts determined by a Unani physician.
  • Method of Administration: Often taken with fresh butter, honey, milk, or water.

How to Use Fillet Tablet

  • Take the medication exactly as prescribed by a qualified Unani physician.
  • It is generally recommended to consume it on an empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before or after meals.
  • Avoid consuming substances with strong odors or flavors (such as coffee, garlic, onion, and mint) while undergoing treatment, as they may interfere with the medicine.

Side Effects of Fillet Tablet

  • Toxicity Risks: While traditional processing transforms elements into a biocompatible calx, incorrect manufacturing or heavy-metal contamination can pose health risks. Always source from verified, GMP-certified brands.
  • Gastrointestinal Distress: Higher intake may lead to mild digestive discomfort, nausea, or constipation.
  • Pregnancy and Lactation: Due to the presence of uterine-stimulating properties in some botanical additives, Kushta Sadaf is generally contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
