Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic 4-quinolone derivative with bactericidal activity against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positve organisms. Neofloxin??IV is indicated in abdominal, colorectal, orthopaedic, neuro, cardio-thoracic, gynaecological surgery.
