\nComposition?: Capsule 250 : Flucloxacillin 250 mg.

\nCapsule 500 : Flucloxacillin 500 mg.
\n
\nPowder for syrup : 125 mg Flucloxacillin / 5 ml.

\nInjection 250 : Flucloxacillin 250 mg.

\nInjection 500 : Flucloxacillin 500 mg.

\nIndications?: Skin and soft tissue infections : Abscess, carbuncle, furunculosis, cellulitis, infected wound and burn and other skin infections.
\n
\nRespiratory tract and E.N.T. infections : Pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media and externa.
\n
\nOther infections : Osteomyelitis, meningitis, enteritis, endocarditis, urinary tract infection, septicaemia.
\n
\nDosage & Administration?: Oral : Adults : 250 mg every 6 hours every 6 hours. The dose may be doubled in severe cases.
\n
\nChildren (2 - 10 years) : ? of the adult dose; (1 measuring spoonful 6 hourly).
\n
\nChildren (under 2 years) : ? of the adult dose.

\nInjection : Adults : Usually 250 mg IM four times daily. Can also be administered intra-venously in a dose of 250 mg to 1 g four times daily. The dose may be doubled in severe cases

\nChildren : Children up to 2 years of age may be given one quarter of the adult dose and those aged 2 - 10 years, one half of the adult dose.
